Report on the Election of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission

Abstract

This report highlights and also provides an overview of the election process of the Chairperson of the African Union as stipulated by the provisions of the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly of the African Union, the Statute of the Commission of the African Union as adopted by Executive Council during January 2016 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
