Report of the Secretary General on the Drafting of the Cultural Charter

Abstract

This is a report by the Secretary-General on the Drafting of the Cultural Charter during the symposium of the first Pan African Cultural Festival held under the aegis of the OAU in Algiers (July 21- 1 August 1969) on the different themes, such as the realities of African culture, the role of African culture in national liberation struggles and in consolidation of African unity and recommendations adopted.
