Report of the Secretary-General on the Establishment, Administration and Financing of the African Centre for Applied Research and Training in Social Development (ACARTSOD) in Tripoli

Abstract

This report contains details of the deliberations of the Intergovernmental Expert Group Meeting which took place in Addis Ababa from 4 to 8 October 1980, as well as the report of the First Meeting of the Governing Board of ACARTSOD and the decisions taken by the Third Conference of African Ministers of Social Affairs which also took place in Addis Ababa from 8 to 10 October 1980. The report also informs the Council of Ministers on what steps have been taken financially to ensure the Centre gets off the ground.
