This is a report by the Secretary-General on the review of the scales of assessment of the OAU in reference to the statistical data obtained from the United Nations, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund or the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, as decided by the Council of Ministers at its Thirty Sixth Ordinary Session held in Addis Ababa from 23 February to 1 March 1981 for the way forward.
