This report contains recommendations of the fourteenth general meeting of the Inter-African Phytosanitary Council that was held in Cairo, Egypt in November 1978 to discuss and adopt several reports on the Phytosanitary activities of National Plant Protection services, as well as to adopt the principle of creating an Africa Society for the protection of plants.
