Report of the PRC Sub-Committee on Structural Reforms, With Report on Financial Implications

Abstract

In this report the Excutive Council invites the AfCFTA secretariat to present its Budget for 2021 and the report urges Member States to facilitate the attendance of Trade Ministers to all meetings.

A report of the Committee of the Permanent Representatives of the African Union that met from 3-4 December 2019 to consider a report of the Joint Sitting of the Sub-Committee on Structural Reforms and Sub-Committee General Supervision and Coordination on Financial, Budgetary and Administrative Matters. The Committee considered the proposal on the new departmental structure for the AU Commission. The Joint Sitting took place in Addis Ababa on 21 and 28-31 October 2019 as well as 28-29 November under the Chairmanship of H.E. Mr. David Pierre.
