This report discusses the request from the Chairman of the OAU group of Ministers of Health at the World Heath Assembly to institutionalize the conference of the OAU Ministers of Health to provide a a forum where Ministers of Health of Member States will discuss problems of public health in Africa and look for a common approach in combatting communicable and epidemic diseases.
